Used Oil Management
Used oil is the Pacific´s single largest source of potentially hazardous material if not managed properly. Currently used oil is shipped illegally across multiple jurisdictions without correct management and has the potential to create hazardous spills throughout the region. These products MUST be treated and shipped under the Hazardous Materials guidelines and Pacific Oil Management holds the required permits and has established the process for the safe management of used oils.
Under our process the Used oil is reprocessed into re-refined lubricating oil, industrial burner fuel and other products. This cleansing and recycling offers significant CO2 reductions factoring in the process of generation of new lubricants.
Shipping and Transportation
Pacific Oil Management own and operate our own double hull tug and barge with a capacity of 4 million litres of used oil. We also have over a million litres of self bunded storage at our main facility to ensure environmentally safe storage of hazardous materials. We hold the required permits to LEGALLY ship used oils to the relevant treatment centres thereby removing your liability in the case of illegal shipments
